Living in the country, I get to enjoy many wild animals and of course deer are one them. So in my painting, I love the transfer of the greens to browns and whites in the grass. But the deer to me sticks out more using a reddish brown and a warm yellow acrylic paint. How fun it is so see the deer popping their heads out of the tall grass in fall. Being able to paint them in their own element to me is breathtaking. I hope you enjoy this painting A Hunter's Dream. Any and all feedback is welcomed. Thank you, Theresa

My two different versions of Padre Pio. My first painting I went with more grey tones in Acrylic paints. Where as if you look at the second painting of Padre I used more brown tones in Acrylic paints. I'm not sure what many others use as far as their Acrylic paints but I tend to stay between a couple brands only because the colors they offer give me more of a nice variance in color. Plus they are affordable. Not saying I don't try others every now and than. But I do like the Artist's Loft and Master's Touch. These are the two brands I used to complete these two Painting's. My first Padre Pio was given to a women with a big heart and who gives without asking for anything in return. My second Padre Pio was sold on a auction and went for more than the asking price. Hoping to continue the paintings of many glorious people. Theresa

This is the first Padre Pio I painted in Acrylic

It's been a while.

I know I haven't posted in a long time but that doesn't mean I have not been painting. I've been busy working on special requests besides some art work of my own. Hopefully this year I will be able to get back to posting more of my completed art work that I have done. Thank you to those who keep requesting pieces from me. I hope that you have enjoyed the art as much as I have enjoyed painting them. Here's to another year of painting enjoyment. Theresa
